About Us

Who We Are

We are committed to becoming disciples and making disciples, following the example of the early church in the Book of Acts. As a Spirit-filled, apostolic church, we strive to continue the mission of the New Testament church by living out the Gospel daily. Our purpose is to fulfill the Great Commission—reaching the lost, teaching the Word of God, and equipping believers to walk in faith, truth, and the power of the Spirit.

Our Vision

Our vision is to reflect the pattern of the early church—a Spirit-filled, prayer-driven community devoted to the Word of God and the mission of Jesus Christ. We are passionate about seeing souls saved, lives restored, and disciples raised up to impact their world with faith and truth. Through fervent prayer, authentic worship, and the power of the Holy Ghost, we seek to bring revival to our city, our region, and the next generation.

Our Beliefs

At First Pentecostal Church of Westlake, we are committed to the apostolic doctrine and biblical foundation established by the New Testament church in the Book of Acts. We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation, doctrine, and Christian living.

We believe the basic and fundamental doctrine of salvation is the Bible standard of full salvation: repentance, water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

As declared in Acts 2:38:

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”

We believe there is one true and living God who has revealed Himself as Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Spirit in regeneration and indwelling power. Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh—fully God and fully man.

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord.” — Deuteronomy 6:4

We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired and infallible Word of God, given to instruct, correct, and guide humanity in truth and righteousness. Scripture is our final authority in faith, doctrine, and daily living.
